@robeastaway I would suggest that the process of learning is as important as what is learnt. Just because AI can do very well with Wolfram, it doesn't make an A' level in mathematics worthless

the fact that any offer is to come from EXISTING budgets means we HAVE to vote to reject the offer.

That would mean massive cuts at the coalface ... we can't recruit as it is. This is the perfect storm.

On Mon, ASCL, NAHT, NASUWT and NEU sent her a letter suggesting we go to ACAS for talks.

Today she replied saying no.

There is some progress in Wales and in Scotland.

But she’s saying no to talks!

@missdcox @Kerry_Milligan I was there on "senior Monday" a couple of weeks ago and it was brilliant. If you book a ticket it won't be too busy. Fascinating to find out how Champillon and Young, the polyglot and polymath respectively, solved the riddle of hieroglyphs. Very much a bygone world
