@DayakerSripathi @KTRTRS It should be accompanied by incentives for those who vote. In the past, employees’ common refrain was that none of the candidates enthuse them, but we now have NOTA option. We have tried enough sensitisation programmes, and a system of incentives and disincentives can be tried

@KTRTRS @jayesh_ranjan The percentage of voters, who actually voted today is very low in GHMC elections.There may be many employees of factories who might not have voted at all enjoying the paid holiday. This can be the case in many industries and govt sector also.

I wish to take your opinion and suggestion whether employers can deduct one day salary if the employee does not have the ink mark as proof of having voted as a matter of discipline and responsible behaviour.
