Probably one of the weirdest and scariest political stories we saw this year. To summaries:

- First female mayor of Bamban, Tarlac
- Residents claim she came from nowhere and wasn't known in the area. Only won the last elections due to an endorsement by the previous mayor.
- Claims her father is half-Chinese and half-Filipino. In retrieved records, however, it was found that her father’s nationality was indicated as Filipino on her birth certificate, but Chinese in their business documents.
- Had no hospital records of her birth because she says was born inside their home. C
- Couldn’t recall its exact location, saying she no longer remembers it.
- Parents only able to register her birth in 2003, 17 years after her birth in 1986. Couldn't remember why that is the case.
- Raised in isolated hog-farm and home-schooled.
- Doesn't have school records because she claims she was homeschooled from elementary to high school. She also did not go to college.
- Could not identify her homeschool provider.
- Linked to Chinese owned offshore gaming operator in her area. Building where operator is based in is linked to ongoing police investigations due to hacking of Philippine government websites, other cyber-attacks and criminal activity traced to it.

Senator Hontiveros and Gatchalian question her nationality and suspect she's part of a Chinese infiltration program.

Really strange and insane if Hontiveros is proven correct. Just WTF? What a wild story.
