@yagiscumrag I think a lot of these arguments would be put to rest if we just called things fanon or headcanon upfront instead of trying to posit things that go counter to a narrative or are supported by two sticks and a rock as "interpretations" of a work
@cocomnky@WickedStag They'll write threads explaining "Why character is xxx" and when people don't agree they backtrack with "Well it's just a headcanon" when they never mentioned that in the first place and tried to position their original point as a genuine reading of what the story's presented
@cocomnky@WickedStag This, I also think it's disingenious when people ignore the fact that people are positing their headcanons as interpretations of the story. If presented like interpretations of the text, they will be obviously be treated as such and countered by anyone who doesn't agree.
@finxxinf Making TikToks with these accusations about this as if you're presenting the truth instead of saying they're your theories on what's going on is straight up libel at this point.
@finxxinf You are now just inciting hate towards lowwo and her friend under the guise of "feeling bad for her" over serious allegations of grooming you thought might have happened based on machine translations of Chinese tweets. Just back off.
@guiltbulletrn I get that this NSFW posting upset you guys but you are making up narratives of what COULD have happened and declaring a possible situation you made up as truth. This is harrassment at this point and you need to back off.
@guiltbulletrn You guys need to cut it out, you're spreading serious allegations of someone grooming a minor based on machine translation and your own assumptions. I know this upset you but you're spreading libel about two users that you should've just blocked and stopped interacting with
@guiltbulletrn@shinyoitsu0312 You need to just block and move on. East Asian fandom is "don't like, block" for any NSFW and the artist used ๐because non Eng speakers don't know the term NSFW, not because it was catered for adults. You'll go insane if you try to confront every instance of Rule 34 from now on
@angryandtooloud@guiltbulletrn CP in Chinese just means "coupling". You need to realize there's an entire culture and language gap here and trying to find reasons to continue digging into an artist and not just disengaging when they've said their piece isn't worth it. Block them and move on.
@_itsvantablack I would definitely consider the Cupids as teenagers too. But literally any piece of media will get NSFW if popular enough, that's called Rule 34. I don't condone it but it's kind of a reality of fanworks, especially w/ JP media where non-Western fans WILL do NSFW art of anything
