@sarahmfine Problem = ed tech developers & Ts fail to realize that the way to eliminate negative behaviors is to empower learners. Negative behaviors stem from either boredom or complicated tasks. Create authentic, relevant, & community-connected challenges for behavior problems to vanish.
@askMsQ @sarahmfine I just had this conversation with an Ed tech developer looking at AI. He was shocked that I was not a fan of MS. “But it’s what teachers want.” Me: “What teachers want and what they need are two different things.” AI that perpetuates outdated pedagogical practices is a waste.
