@arojinle1 There was a woman on my street (college crescent) in Ibadan in the late 80s. She was nicknamed fobojagba. It took me a long time as a kid to understand. I did eventually. Let me just say that the circumstances surrounding her marrying “Oga” at that time earned her that name
@kiki_Popeyes They will not. I was already in the University before Mobile phone came (Econet Buddie), so the question is, how did we unwind before likes and repost? I wish we could all go back to video clubs (VHS), sitting to gist with our friends at junctions, street football, pen pals, etc
@Beautyugo1 My Dad's stepbro died in Osogbo on Tues.
On Wed, he visited my dad at school in Lagos, gave him 1 shilling, and left. My Dad told his uncle. On Thursday, my dad’s uncle got the news and rushed him to Osogbo. My dad fainted when he saw the fresh grave. Ghost story or mystery? 🤯
@Pirtim This is precisely why I avoid political discussions on X. It appears that many individuals here lack historical perspective. No experience of the "Abacha stove" to even start with. If you have not watched at least 10 World Cups, I would refrain from engaging in that conversation.

@egi_nupe@The_Ogundipe It’s incredibly frustrating to have hundreds of millions tied up with customers in Nigeria while being unable to return to my manufacturers in India due to broken promises. Dealing with non-paying clients has been a major challenge lately.
@egi_nupe@The_Ogundipe The credit trap in Nigeria is a nightmare. I manufacture antibiotics and supply pharmacies & hospitals on credit. They pay a fraction of the cost, promise a date, then ghost calls/texts. You visit and your stock is 100% sold out—money collected, diverted, and invoice ignored.
@egi_nupe This is something I still discussed with @SlamDunko02 recently. Men really have nothing to gain. You provide the "ways and means" for others to survive. The plan is always for you not to survive and most times you don't or you become a bachelor in your old age.
