@CosmicSkeptic Disappointed by his analogy of a terminal patient given a treatment that helps a small percentage of patients. In that case, one would be able to determine that some people actually were successfully treated, whereas with Christianity, no one has been verifiably saved.
I left Christianity because I realized that I didn't have good reasons for believing in the first place, but this self-inquiry began in response to the disgusting political opinions of those in my spiritual community.

@waldenpod@RealAtheology I identify Evangelical support and responsibility for electing Donald Trump as the triggering event that led to my eventual deconversion. If Christianity were true, it seemed unlikely that Christians would support such an obviously immoral person as president.
