@sewateruk I bet the CEO will still pull in a huge 6 figure salary AND bonus. Re-nationalise, privately owned companies having a monopoly isn't healthy for anybody.
@sewateruk Demand is no higher than any other warm/hot period. Build reservoirs and stop leaks. Also, stop putting huge salaries and bonuses first before the service you're meant to provide.
@sewateruk This is what you get with years of milking the companies to pay huge salaries and bonuses. Privatisation doesn't work. Build reservoirs and stop leaks. All of them are a shambles.
As of today, this is how women must dress in Afghanistan, according to the Taliban's Supreme Leader.
The following rules are now in effect: The full face must be covered—no hands, nothing visible. The black veil was presented as a "recommendation" a year ago, now it is the law.
Your energy bill is £1,711.
It was £1,042 in Jan 2021, and costs are lower now.
Energy company profits have quadrupled, British Gas' increased 10x.
Ofgem works to boost profits and passes all costs onto you, then when prices drop, caps don't.
Their profits cause your poverty.
Privatisation has never been about providing a cheaper, better service. It has always been about the rich stealing the assets we own and selling inferior services back to us at exorbitant prices.
@Christianjw92 It's not difficult to understand. One was guilty of gross misconduct (Jenas), and the other was innocent until proven guilty in court. If Edwards had admitted guilt prior to court, then he would've been terminated contractually.
@mattletiss7 Edwards was innocent until proved guilty in court, Jenas, presumably, was guilty of gross misconduct, so an instant termination of contract was possible. As far as I'm aware, Edwards didn't admit guilt prior to appearing in court?
