@j_coatsworth I would love to see a reasonable justification as to why somebody who chooses to watch everything but BBC, whether free or subscription services, still has to pay the BBC to produce content for its consumers? No other provider could demand this.

They actually lost less if you could prove that the transaction would never have occurred if the thief hadn't stolen the $100. This is because they made profit on that transaction which they otherwise wouldn't have.
