๐๐ป *Enrichment Day at Lostock for our Academy players*
Players from our U12-14โs squads took part in different activities at The Eddie Davies Training Ground as part of an Enrichment Day.
The morning workshops included Team Building, Athletic Development, Core Strength and Nutrition.
After lunch the players took part in warm activities, coaching practices & games.
Lots of opportunities to learn & develop for everyone involved ๐๐ปโฝ๏ธ

@JakeDavies96 Yes, more than happy to meet up with you. I'm mad busy with things at work next week & then disappear on holiday with the family to South Africa for x2 weeks, where my wife's niece is getting married.
I will be back home from Monday 27th May, so let's catch up sometime that week
@mark_prestwich@BWFCBandAcademy@MFC_Futsal We are looking to arrange further Futsal experiences for our other Academy age groups in the New Year ๐๐ปGive me an idea of when & where and we can hopefully get something in the diary.
A super away performance from a young Wanderers U19's yesterday morning. A positive attitude, plenty of effort & teamwork resulted in a well deserved win โฝ๏ธโฝ๏ธโฝ๏ธโฝ๏ธโฝ๏ธโฝ๏ธ
@KevPerry02 Perhaps the opportunity of playing for Everton is just not an attract enough proposition for the strikers they have been targeting. Unless they can improve their performances, league position etc they will continue to sign strikers which other FAPL clubs are happy to release
@coachingbadges The FA Youth Award (Modules 1, 2 & 3) went some of the way to help coaches understand how they could support players & develop these soft skills. Sadly, this content appears to have disappeared from the current courses.
@mattgrivo@OfficialBWFC Good luck wherever you end up next. Was a pleasure to get to know you albeit towards the end of the season. Onwards & upwards ๐๐ป
The Youth Team ended its NW Youth Alliance campaign with 4-0 win at Rochdale thanks to goals from Yestin Shakespear (2), James Westwood and Leo Graham.
After challenging near the top of the table for much of the season, the Whites gave opportunities to several of their U16 players in recent weeks as they finished in sixth position.
The Youths also reached three semi-finals during the season. Well done on all your efforts lads.
@WazzaBarlow When the FA decided to adopt a central business model for the delivery of Coach Education, County FA's lost a vital income stream. Sadly it looks like they are now off setting some of this lost income by increasing Affiliation Fees. Doesn't appear to be a sensible decision ๐ค
@BBCMOTD Two very different attempts by players to win possession of the ball. Skipp had no intent to try & play the ball, whereas Jota was doing quite the opposite. Referee Tierney was well placed to make the correct decision, hence no need for VAR.
