“Sometimes I wonder if the Asian-American experience is what it’s like when you’re thinking about everyone else, but nobody else is thinking about you.” Steve Yeun
a quote I never stop thinking about,
and helpful strategies that work best for me. I also love that you acknowledge the ongoing struggle with managing ADHD (and other issues), that even when we think we have things under control, there are things that can pop up or ways to improve. Thanks, Jessica!
@HowtoADHD as a person who recently got a diagnosis as an adult, I am so grateful for your content. I have been learning a lot about ADHD and how to recognize and manage it. Your videos have literally been the jumping point for me to do more of my own research on applying tools
This country is great because you'll constantly hear "go take care of yourself" and then charge $300 for a 50-minute session with a therapist who doesn't take insurance after calling 10 other offices that don't have any appointments.
I'm so glad that I took the time to dive into #HopeintheMail. It was a mix of life and writing craft lessons, an insight to another person's life and inspirations, and a message of hope and perseverance. Thank you, @WendelinVanD for sharing your worlds with us readers. ❤
@WendelinVanD I never would've considered Sammy's age to have been a mistake with the way you used it to carry the story. Love these little insights to Sammy World #hopeinthemail
It is a tragedy when #AsianAmerican students who are battling anti-Asian racism & hate seek resources from their universities, THIS is the advice they receive.
For the record, there is NOT A SINGLE Asian who wishes they weren't Asian right now.
Finally getting around to reading Hope in the Mail by @WendelinVanD and this sentiment hit deep, "You don't have to save the world. Jusy save your character. And at the heart of that character is you." ❤
