In Jos, Plateau State, I served as a facilitator at the PPP Capacity Building Programme organized by the Plateau State Government in partnership with the World Bank for Directors of MDAs.

The focus was simple but critical: how to structure PPPs that actually work.

WHEN MAN CATCHES UP WITH GOD

“God’s promises are not waiting on His power; they’re waiting on our alignment.”

God didn’t take twenty-five years to give Abraham Isaac — it took Abraham twenty-five years to get on the same page with God. Divine delay is rarely about God’s unwillingness; it’s about our unreadiness. The promises of God don’t expire — they mature with our obedience.

Between the promise and the performance lies the classroom of transformation. God uses waiting to refine faith, silence to develop trust, and time to produce alignment. Every delay in Abraham’s journey was a lesson in letting go — of control, of logic, of Ishmael.

When Abraham finally stopped analyzing and started believing — when he stopped considering the deadness of his body and started considering the faithfulness of God — heaven moved instantly. Isaac wasn’t late; Abraham was finally aligned.

Delay is not denial; it’s often divine synchronization. When man catches up with God, time collapses and prophecy becomes reality.

“He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God.” — Romans 4:20
