@bgimhoff@JackDuffin Nobody ever admits to tanking, and especially Andrew Berry. He is currently taking a victory lap of interviews with all his media friends, for trading Myles Garrett 😂. Deshaun Watson, 4 yrs after worst trade in NFL history, will be week 1 starter. That is tanking 101
@bgimhoff@JackDuffin Trading Myles made it more difficult to win. Getting Verse back only that the % of difficulty isn’t as high because he’s good. However, trading Myles made the ‘26 football team worse. That’s a tanking move no matter how the media try’s to put Verse in HOF
@MichaelSte91480@JackDuffin Whoever they draft in ‘27. Not ta mention, ya folks gotta wait n see players play without JS n MG before assuming they will have same production without the two main reasons why defense was good. Thinking those two major departures happen n everyone else stays same is Naïve
@MichaelSte91480@JackDuffin That’s all fine, but ya still have to believe a 30 yr old Delpit, without Schwartz or Myles, is $15M better than a would be 2nd year safety. That feels like pointless spending to me
@KenCarman Andrew Berry’s “all time heater is lava hot!!🥵. lol Ken, just for clarification beforehand, and before Browns messaging informs you of your opinion, a 3rd straight season of double digit losses is actually a bad thing for a GM, no?
@ECloskyWTSP Obviously, there are certain players who ya aren’t worried about missing day(s) of OTA’s, then there is BMO. Could be nothing, could be just a dude ya can’t rely on being healthy. Just keep Oline/Dline healthy, and an oft injured CB yet to help Bucs, won’t kill your season
@SportsBoyTony@PatMcAfeeShow After watching interview, it’s obvious why AB’s bottom of NFL results over last 6 yrs doesn’t change his standing with media n other NFL executives. He’s mastered making nerds, NFL insiders, n executives, feel like he’s one of them. Great finesser, great BSer, very poor GM.
@SMW4214@iAmNickWize Letting Franchise QB’s go to save $ equates in saving money, and takes ya out of contention. That $50M thing isn’t a thing. Within two years, 15 QB’s will be over $50M. It’s arbitrary. Ya just pay QB’s that make your team better. Always
@EdGreenberger@joycecalhio Because they had no choice. Worst offense in football for 2 years in a row. Most of that due to personnel. Not drafting those major holes at WR n Oline two yrs in a row would have been malpractice
@EdGreenberger@joycecalhio I’m just stating that nothing has changed with Browns strategy. Depo didn’t give away those picks, or give up on Mayfield. The only change? Cle finally had picks back right as AB’s 5 years of roster mismanagement finally cratered team.
@EdGreenberger@joycecalhio Not for nothing, the Giants, the Jets, the Saints, have also had two good drafts. Why? Because picking top 2-8 multiple years in a row gets ya 4 top 40 picks. Infusion of talent becomes pretty easy. It’s literally set up that way by the NFL. ‘26 still bringn same double digit L’s
@Rob_Shenanigans Except “value” does nothing for you during actual football games. I mean, what is the “value” of a 3rd round pick two full seasons from now? Absolute zero until the ‘28 season. Just carry the 4 and divide the hypotenuse, then add gullibles, and Browns made out like bandits!!🎉🎉
@OnceAnOhioan@BrettKollmann I’m with ya, the Oline will almost certainly be better. I just bristle at giving flowers to a GM for making extremely necessary moves, made necessary by own mismanagement, that MIGHT make his Oline league average.
@OnceAnOhioan@BrettKollmann Sorry to be a stickler, but your GM created a situation where The Browns would be first team and n decades to have all 5 starting Oline spots needing filled. That’s not an “overhaul” , and certainly overpaying for 4 average Olineman is not great. Better than ‘25? Yup. Good? Ehhh
@BrettKollmann Sure, but when does going from worse to not good become tiresome every offseason? How many years into a Front office’s tenure does it take to expect a team to be good, or to be compared to rest of NFL instead of previous years awful teams?
@BrutalAsBucs@beyonceboyfri3n@MuseBaker Baker Mayfield is getting $50+M. Even if some dude on the internet doesn’t want him to. I guess that means ya get to scream into the void for the next 3-4 years. That’s unfortunate for you
@BrutalAsBucs@beyonceboyfri3n@MuseBaker Yes, the amount of Pro Bowlers, team DVOA, coaching, has been fantastic for 3 years. Baker just holding all them beasts back. Hopefully the HC, the defense, and special teams continue their dominance and carry Baker to success AGAIN 😉😂
