My education comes mostly from history, the stock market, and looney tunes cartoons. Watch out for acme stock crashes on the ides of March. You’re welcome.
@DB32919@JackDuffin But they could've had an extra first round pick or two, with no elite edge rusher at all like the Jets did. That's what tanking looks like. The Browns weren't gonna do the deal without getting an already elite edge in return. That’s backwards from what a tanking team does.
@DB32919@JackDuffin If they were tanking, they would've sought straight up draft compensation for Myles. As it is, they got a guy who makes it meaningfully more difficult to lose.
@Kwen_C I think the Browns are trying to do the Seahawks plan more than the "tank for a QB" plan. I expect them to cut Deshaun next off-season and sign whoever emerges as the next Sam Darnold this year. If this draft hits, CLE should be an inviting destination for a WB with options.
@Jeremyinakron17 His fans are the part of the Shedeur experience I hate the most. By a mile. They claim to dislike media dishonesty, but then break out the torches and pitchforks when an analyst says something he believes is true but they don't like it. Can't have it both ways.
@upbidders@TomHartman1079@mxw1n@nflrums Interesting that you'd contrast Christian nationalism with the group of Christians that support LGBT+ ideology. Does that mean you'd admit that LGBT+ ideology runs counter to what's best for the country as a whole?
@mxw1n@nflrums Statistically the #1 genocider of the trans community is the trans community itself. By a mile. Worth asking what it is about that lifestyle that makes 40% them so confident it's not worth living, isn't it?
@Jeremyinakron17 I think Tillman makes the team as a backup big receiver to Boston. Last year when Tillman got hurt, we didn't have a second big receiver that could do the stuff he did. $4 million is cheap for a 600 yard receiver these days and Tillman can provide that.
@FredGreetham9 Ok here's the thing.. I get why the throw was to the outside of the receiver. That’s good QB instinct. But why the hell is it in the dirt? Plenty of space to throw a rainbow to the sideline and let KC run underneath it.
@BrookPrkDynasty@AdamSchefter I don't think he's capable of 15 sacks, but I think the rest of the line has the talent to pick up some slack if Myles isn't beating them to the QB. Especially Collins and Graham.
@KingstonHawk3@Jonnyla_77@AdamSchefter Only reason not to trade Ward is because the CB room is very thin already. Losing Ward off the top of it would make a weak position genuinely bad.
@dylantarrh@Jeremyinakron17 A lighter workload can actually be good for a veteran team that's used to playing together. Kevin is terrible at picking good players and developing talent, but the dude can actually grind out value from a good offense pretty reliably.
@SleeperBrowns@SleeperNFL It's an idiotic non-story. What would they even talk about? They're committed to running it back with the same defensive scheme this year, so there's no reason Myles should change an off-season routine that clearly works for him.
@T_F_Ch He ISN'T a leader on that team! Talented? Absolutely. A leader? Dude just isn't wired that way. Not everybody is, and that’s fine. Can't believe we're this far into his career and people still dream of him being a leader.
@ClevSportsNews@Jeremyinakron17 Trading Myles would be idiotic this year. Next year maybe, but they're at least gonna give the rebuilt offense half a chance to work out before betting against it.
@ClownWorld Owners need to teach their dogs not to chase runners and cyclists. If the dog isn't properly trained, it's gonna get hurt and that'll be the owner's fault.
