No GM is “good at picking a QB”. Most of the ones who have got lucky. Is the bengals GM good at it? Is Ryan poles good at it because he took Caleb (after taking fields)? Howie traded a shit ton to take Wentz, but we trust him. “Trusting the GM to pick a QB” is something this town talks about but doesn’t actually exist. We just gotta make a good situation for one and hope the kid has the goods
I view this the same way I view Andrew Berry’s perceived track record with drafting wide receivers prior to this most recent draft.
Andrew Berry has never used a 1st (or even a 2nd) round draft pick on a QB.
Until he does I don’t think it’s fair to judge him.
Funniest thing about people wanting the Browns to lose is that you can argue Andrew Berry’s best picks the last two seasons came after the first round anyway.
Carson Schwesinger (33rd pick)
Denzel Boston (39th pick)
EMW (58th pick)
And we’re worried about a pick in the 20’s?
Veilguard did not kill BioWare. Private equity killed BioWare. Money killed BioWare. Corporate greed killed BioWare. Shut the fuck up about wokeness and Veilguard for fuck’s sake. Holy shit
Also funny that right wingers think this is because of Dragon Age and not the ordinary cycle of PE saddling companies with debt and cutting everything to the bone. In six months, they’re going to kill more studios and add microtransactions to everything.
The Ravens had everything covered up in that 1st half.
Watson didn’t have a lot of places to throw the ball until the second half, where he was significantly better.
(Saying this a lot more than I thought I would this season!)
If Deshaun Watson would have thrown the ball on a lot of the plays the majority of people THOUGHT someone was open in the first half..
He would have broken the NFL record for picks in a game Sunday & the Browns would be sitting at 3-3 guaranteed.
They’re SIX games into the season.
This isn’t them winning a game in December when they were already 3-12.
The Browns are 4-2. All of these games are meaningful right now.
Also, the Rams are 2-4! If there’s any time for the Browns to go and make the playoffs it’s right now.
“I really don’t want to go win a bunch of meaningless games this year that drop our draft pick.” — @JaycrawfordCLE
Jay believes the #Browns are currently playing above their level. 👀🏈
