Japanese racism comes off pathetic because you can tell they only know Black people as an abstract concept and they'll only parroting stuff they've heard your lowest common denomination racist white person say
"They're embodying what Philadelphia is. ... That city is used to things aren't going great, and we still have to get it done."
—@imanshumpert on the 76ers' 29-point comeback win 💪
“I think Philadelphia’s the best sports city LeBron’s ever played for.”
@getnickwright breaks down what it was like being in the building for the Sixers home opener:
I can finally talk about Mass Effect Universe.
Since Bioware closed I can now reveal that I was part of the Mass Effect Council, saw what BioWare was building, and provided feedback during development.
• Set 600+ years after the Reaper War
• You play as a customizable N7 agent
• Instead of being a walking gun rack, you're a cross between John Wick and James Bond
• Shepard's legacy preserved, regardless of your ending
• A galaxy divided into three major factions
• Humanity, Krogan, Batarians, and more allied together
• Council races forming their own alliance
• The Geth emerging as a third superpower
• A galactic Cold War instead of another Reaper style invasion with a shadowy adversary
• Geth-built megastructures
• Connections between the Milky Way and Andromeda
• Experimental technology implanted in you as a unique point of difference
• Hacking and manipulating the environment
• See through walls, identify systems, remotely trigger hazards and more
• Handcrafted missions like ME1-3
• But with Hitman-style freedom in how you complete them
• Brutal close-range executions
• Squadmates who can clash with each other
• Romance wasn't being sanitised
• Liara returns - now an incredibly powerful Asari Matriarch
From what I saw, BioWare was making Mass Effect for us, the fans, not for people who don't exist.
It looked incredible.
And now we may never get to play it.

LeBron James: “My daughter was here. She turned 12 today. They put her name and told her happy birthday on the jumbotron... That was super cool, man. Mom was here as well, so super special for me to be able to have moments like this in this building, in this city, probably one of the best sport cities in the world."
LeBron James on tonight’s crowd:
“It was everything that I dreamed of and more. We got the boos. That was amazing. We deserved it. And then we had the cheers, and almost blew the roof off this thing tonight — in a good way. It was a hell of a night.”
🚨 NBA HISTORY
The Cleveland Cavaliers are the FIRST team in NBA history to LOSE a season opener after leading by 20+ points at halftime! 🤯
Before tonight, teams were a PERFECT 65-0 in those games since 1984–85.
The 76ers just ended that streak. 😳
