Hello guys
I am Samuel Kamau, born on October 12, 1999. My story is not one of distant privilege, but maybe very close, vibrant community spirit found in the heart of Gachororo village in Juja. It was there, amidst the simple, powerful lessons of life in the slums, that I was born and raised. Like my peers, I was brought up with a strict adherence to good manners and respect and principles that would later become the bedrock of my public life.
I am the third born in a family of five children and, proudly, the sole son in the family. Growing up alongside four sisters taught me early lessons in negotiation, humility, and the importance of listening which are skills that I’ve found, are surprisingly transferable to the world of politics.
From the Classroom to the Campaign Trail
My formal education began at Gachororo Primary School, where I successfully completed my KCPE certificate. This was followed by my secondary education at Gachororo Secondary School, culminating in my KCSE certificate. Driven by a fascination with technology I advanced to Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) to pursue a degree in BBIT (Bachelor of Business Information Technology).
However, the magnetic pull of public life and community action proved irresistible. I quickly found myself deeply immersed in the world of local politics, which became an education in itself something singepata kwa vitabu, I developed a reputation for having a keen strategic mind and a tireless work ethic. This track record of strategic thinking and execution led to my current role as Personal Assistant to the current Juja Ward MCA, a position that has given me invaluable, first hand experience in the mechanics of local governance.
I became popularly known across Juja for my political prowess. I was a Chief Campaigner for the honourable JK, a campaign that ended in a victory. Following this success, I offered to support and campaigned for Hon Koimburi, the current MP, and celebrated yet another hard fought win. If politics is a game of strategy then I was good at it.
My wish is to Serving the Great People of Juja
Now, a new chapter is set to begin. My ambitions are clear just to serve the great people of Juja as their next MCA in the coming election.
I have been humbled by the outpouring of support and encouragement from the community, who believe in my proven track record of political strategies and ability to win.
Nipeeni nafasi 🙏🙏🙏
