I’m thrilled to share the official trailer for my documentary FRAMPTON. It’s been an incredible experience reflecting on this journey. The film will make its world premiere this Thursday June 4th at the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City. Watch the trailer now.
Steely Dan released their fifth studio album, “The Royal Scam”, on this day in 1976. The album focused on heavier bass and drums than the band’s prior albums, with a rhythm section that includes Walter Becker, Chuck Rainey, Rick Marotta, Bernard Purdie and Victor Feldman.
"More Than a Feeling" is the opening track and first single from Boston's eponymous debut album (1976), one of the best-selling debut albums in rock history (over 17 million in the US alone). Tom Scholz, the genius behind the band, took five years to write and record the song in the home studio he set up in the basement of his house in Watertown, Massachusetts, all while working during the day as an engineer at Polaroid!
The track reached #5 on Billboard Hot 100.
