@TheSmokingTire We saw the fire trucks coming up, someone in our group knew the driver. A father and his son were in the GT3. Bunch of people still stuck up there at Good Vibes. Really felt different this time, especially since the conditions were so good. Shows how dangerous these roads can be
@charlesnorthvi Lol. Nothing to do with politics. At peak pandemic demand was so low for oil that producing countries decreased their rate of production. But now that everyone’s out driving again and the production rate isn’t back up there just isn’t enough to go around. Basic supply and demand.
No one likes to fail.
But when it comes to video games, kids can spend most of their time failing and still LOVE playing.
What is it about video games that keeps them optimistic in the face of failure?👇
@h0rze@SnazzyQ Tesla has some very talented engineers, no doubt. But rotating a screen is hardly a revolution in design. The screen’s high resolution is due to Tesla using a non-automotive grade (cheaper) screen. One that has consistently broken since it’s introduction in the 2012 Model S.
@h0rze@SnazzyQ Autopilot is not exceptional in any way, Ford’s and GM’s adas systems are nearly identical, but with superior driver monitoring. In regards to saving lives, maybe, but I struggle to trust Elon Musk when he overgeneralizes the system as 10x better than a human driver.
