It’s exciting to have our breakfast meeting resume after a year's break.
This will serve as a moment to reconnect, network and fan the desire for values in the business field, who we are and what we stand for.
It’s a miss not!

with a greater desire not just to be forgiven, and manage conflict but towards a change of our actions and attitudes to seek character not just competence, to be found faithful not just successful.

Doctrine of Work
Work is not as a result of sin; it is not a curse. The fact that work was God-ordained, it is dignified but sin introduces difficultness, the thistle and thorns that sprout up.
greed for power, prominence and pleasure, covetousness among others - all as abuse of their stewardship. Errors in the arena of work are not mistakes but sin.
Understanding our identity and purpose, will help us to be objective in our view of work and the ‘thorns’
As you navigate through this dynamics/transitions let there be a resounding urge for the quest to remind yourself, WHO am I, individually or WHO are we as a Business/organization and WHY do I/ we exist.
#confidencecrisis#Transitions#culturedbusinesses#identityandpurpose
Work dynamics/transitions vs identity and purpose.
An awareness of our identity and purpose gives us the courage and confidence not only in the work we do but also when faced with different challenges and transitions at work.
Often times when faced with, criticism, lack of affirmation and support, dismissal, changed or unmet expectations, negative feedback. All this can affect us and result to a confidence crisis, which can be scary for sure.
Identity and purpose give us courage and confidence not only in the work we do but also in facing transitions. When one does not fully realize who they are and what they do, it results to a crisis of confidence.
They lead us to pursue transitions in our lives and in business. Whether your transitions would be triggered by these or not, would there be a resounding urge for the quest to remind yourself, WHO am I, individually or WHO are we as a Business/organization and WHY do I/ we exist.
The purpose of work is not for a better life, or to eat, Adam and Eve worked yet the Lord had given them food and a good life in the garden, the motive is worship. Whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of Jesus, giving thanks to God (Colossian 3:17).
Our goal as DBF is to ensure effective kingdom cultured businesses. The theology of work helps paint a vivid picture of what a noble task we as entrepreneurs do and the need to be firm on our values.
