A coordinated play by polling firms causing real world bad policy based on snapshot emotional thinking.
Don’t fall for it folks!
Policy persuasion through public opinion polls never measures critical thinking, geographical or economic realities.
It only measures EMOTION in the moment.
And this is where polling firms come in to use the craft in a malevolent fashion to push a coordinated agenda.
Making such consequential decisions via short sighted emotional none sense is about as stupid and dangerous of a thing that could be done to a country.
No way to govern.
Shame on polling firms for their attempt to persuade with snapshot of desperation versus a thorough analysis of the uncomfortable truths and real world faults of that over the top technocratic, bureaucratic unaccountable managerial system.
“He dropped the consumer carbon tax to lower costs” is literally a narrative only a partisan can see. Alarmists are sheepishly silent on that move, along with actually , to this point, talking about anything but keeping resources in the ground. A complete 180 on the ‘vibe’ for a decade of Red rule. These realities are never addressed in the next point.
So is “works closely with a highly unpopular provincial Alberta”. Most every premier is deeply unpopular, yet you overlook the fact that she is working with him too. All your taking points are taken from a Red narrative.
Defense spending? Thank the Irange man for that.
What you are describing is a dude who is trying to clean up a mess created by another drama teacher dude.
Many of us hope PMMC can achieve mending some of the very real damage. Unfortunately he’s playing with the exact same team. It’s like putting a fire out with the arsonists who lit it.
Another example of a progressive elite who makes divisive statements, for very selfish, performative, virtue seeking points from his like minded groupthinkers.
Had to correct that his heirarchy for rule of law , clearly put international ahead of any domestic concerns.
Speaks of science as if his tribe owns it. How pompous and arrogant.
Uses word ‘believe’ in climate change as a following of a religion and that heritics should be dammed.
This poll measures emotions in the moment, lacks any evidence of critical thinking or geographical and economic reality, nor does it measure long term strategic planning.
In other words, this poll is USELESS.
This is why polling firms DO contribute to shitty policy based on influencing feckless weak politicians and political parties that govern based on f**king public opinion polls.
@Canada4Europe This post lacks any and all authenticity.
Is either a paid shill or an ideologically captured sheep.
Has ZERO persusive qualities and screems agenda driven drivel.
Yes really. The sentiment of separation did not happen in a vacuum. It is the result of an agrieved constituency in Alberta having been arrogantly ignored by an ideologically captured federal government over this past decade.
One does not have to agree with the separatists on their remedy (I don’t) without acknowledging the very real trajectory of damage that most certainly was NOT one way.
Without introspection and public acknowledgment by the Feds on their role in this situation … it is cognitive dissonance, lacks leadership and unifying standards that should be expected of the governing federal party.
Until then, it’s much easier to point the finger at opposition leaders than to hold those with the power to account.
It’s not what she said …. It’s the cadence and pausing in order to spit out something, anything that would NOT offend the progressive class within her media circles and which would not compromise the continued heavy subsidies from the governing Reds.
A backhanded consent to his message which was begrudgingly and painfully articulated.
@GBNEWS@markwhiteTV How ironic. He dodged the question on mindset indoctrination by providing a DEI answer on promotions within his institution.
Many would argue that his answer serves as what is foremost in his managerial mind in an effort to not fall out of favour from the progressive class.
You cannot stop a necessary conversation about uncomfortable truths and using the empathy card for the parents.
That empathy tactic is literally being used by you to suppress a necessary conversation and give yourself public virtue points as though your are the only thoughtful person in the room. You do NOT have any more empathy for the family than those who are prepared to have a discussion.
Questioning your motives?
You bet! The empathy card is a convenient tactic of which you conflate respecting the parents with holding a necessary conversation.
As a parent who has lost a child, there is not a day that goes by without playing the moment when my son took his last breath. It is inescapable.
Yet, as a parent, there is meaning in the loss if there can be lessons learned to prevent a similar fate upon another child.
As a parent who has also lost a child …. NOPE.
If there are lessons to be learned which can solve ills, then that brings meaning to the loss.
Respecting my wishes is putting my ‘feelings’ above a necessary conversation.
In other words, it’s a selfish request under the circumstances, and also a ‘get out of jail’ free card being played by progressives in bad faith.
Frankly, progressives could give 2 sh*ts about the family’s concerns.
It’s obvious to anyone observing.
Well, the printing of currency across Western nations during Covid lockdowns might , maybe be considered. Doesn’t matter what country you’re in, the value of currency was severely diminished due to deficits of that scale, even over and above the consistent addictive deficit financing for decades in the west.
Ya … hilarious Andrew.
Don’t forget this is drama aimed at internal Red Team , which pundits automatically would minimize and scoff at from the get go.
Were it internal Blue Team drama though …. Pundit Pivot - bring out the script which offers genuine insight and legitimacy.
