@BrianWolfe41778@GarrettWebste13@nathan_sass@nut_history While true, the fact is that they can't get it any better. The technology still needs to advance to specifically address that issue.
Otherwise, you get a whole bunch of problematic strike calls.
These changes are benefits to hitters, btw. Creates more action.
@rock_climber02@PeteATurner@RunTheJules Believe it or not, the reason the Blue Jays outperformed, but ultimately lost, is the combination of doing exactly this kind of thing.
Lots of big role players were acquired through strong prospect scouting.
Blue Jays simply haven't won the bids on the biggest names.
@fry_bry21@Ligonier Singleness may never be explicitly stated that way… but if marriage is a gift… and singleness is better than that (Apostle Paul)… then your point makes no sense.
@SpookieMusk@cturnbull1968@RubenGallego Some of them should be, to some extent.
Loans are already well categorized and differentiated. It would be no issue to designate what something is for and limit how you claim things.
People pulling equity are essentially selling their house to the bank as an unrealized gain.
@K3NRG@turduken21@PolymarketHoops My first Star Wars was the originals and I think the prequels clear them easily. Can’t wait for my son to get through the originals for us to enjoy the ores
@ducks2007quack@DrakeMT Correct... and the fact that it was the hurricanes who had a cakewalk to the Finals... whereas Vegas had to play much better built teams (albeit undeveloped).
@baird43107@lspear412@politicalmath They are credentialing machines because there needs to be some sort of pathway to showocasing that you've actually acquired some sort of expertise.
The perception is completely self-created. People want a credential machine because it's easier than actually acquiring expertise.
@baird43107@politicalmath First off... AI is wrong A LOT... and they're not getting better.
Second, because they're wrong so often and mess up so badly, we need colleges and universities even more so that we actually know how knowledge even works, so that we can address the problems that are INEVITABLE.
@MelodyFoster05@emilykmay It really is amazing the way that MAGA can coopt people who so intuitively don't actually believe or live what that group promotes.
@cookieflash@NHLRumourReport For that draft? Yes, he has. It's essentially the weakest draft in recent memory, but Slafkovsky was #1, then Beniers... which he's not better than those two, but he's not far behind.
He just has huge flaws combined with huge strengths.
@alexbrasky Honestly, this has to do with simply poor management from original teams.
But the Canadiens will be there soon. It's not a league issue, it's just management and talent diversity.
BTW, the Blackhawks and Pittsburgh?
@ScottXfan@xjoevincentx He excels at a lot of things: uses his size well to protect the puck in the o-zone, can make shockingly great passes for scoring chances, and has a wicked shot.
The problem? He needs a lot of help... and it's a real question whether it's worth putting all that effort into a 3LW.
@xjoevincentx Yeah, I think he needs to be given some time to run as the 3LW with PP time, but get him a playmaking C that can make things happen for him. Just gotta except what he is, and try to accentuate his strengths more then his weaknesses.
@SilfverStache@Chucky_Ducks@sxicidewaves@NHLTradeAlert See, I think his size and occasional strong playmaking make him shine a bit more than it should.
He has tools, but his game sense just isn't at the level where those tools are valuable for long enough tretches of time. 3LW PP specialist.
