@JagexAsh Would hosting/participating in a CW tournament (with a 1-2bil prize) be against any game rules? There would be no entry fee of any sort for participants.
@JagexAsh Would it be possible to allow the orb of oculus inside the Castle Wars arena? It would make for some great future videos if possible :) Currently it is classified as a non-combat item.
@JagexAsh That's great to hear. What do you mean by less flexible? Wouldn't it work as long as someone with the ability to kick is in the keyholder world?
@JagexAsh would the new clan system integrate the keyholder world? In other words, would the world be able to be linked to a unified “CWC” clan chat rather than a cluster of individual friends chats?
@JagexAsh Hi @JagexAsh. The new clan system is great. Just wanted to remind you that swapping the keyholder functionality to the clan system from the friends chat is still something we would very much love to see! Our clan name is “CW”
@JagexAsh there is also this visual/graphical issue on steam vanilla, although not nearly as consequential as the rmb/lmb glitch. thanks! https://t.co/ImdVDJjbOh
I also went ahead and submitted the aforementioned issues via the bug report system in game, but visual aids help.
@JagexAsh When can we expect some improvements to the steam osrs client? I'm sure the team is aware of the many bugs it shipped with, with the (arguably) most unplayable one being that you cannot right/left click consistently
I realize that it may be difficult to code such a hotfix to not apply in this manner. Please consider this alternative. The use of a spear used only in CW (50-100 tickets, something like that) that does not have the immunity to binding spells as a result of its shove special attk
@JagexAsh Is there any way to make the new spear hotfix not applicable to CW? This would effectively ruin the use of the spear in competitive CW gameplay -- I understand it may be broken in PvP, but please acknowledge that this change would affect competitive CW detrimentally.
I can provide a more detailed explanation, but here's the twitter version; spears are an integral part of our gameplay, and used in a strategic manner to avoid getting frozen as well as catching freezes. Providing immunity would negate its use completely.
@JagexAsh Sure thing. We feel that location is the most balanced (and aesthetically sensible) as the enemy team won't be able to stock for consumables (potions, bandages, etc) in the opposing base; a change as suggested would be consistent and balanced.
@JagexAsh With reference to poll questions 12 and 13:
Where does the team plan to put the table to pick up potions proposed in question #12? Ideally these would be inside the spawn room somewhere, rather than the supply area with usable items
@JagexAsh Here is the picture attached again for easier reference. For clarification, the table would be on the northern side for the Zam base, and southern for the Sara base.
@JagexAsh Hey @JagexAsh, the community has really enjoyed the new potion update in CW. However, as previously communicated, the placement could be improved upon. We suggest moving it to the northern area, INSIDE the spawn barrier as shown: https://t.co/j1xJqhUSqQ
@JagexAsh For #12 - placing an additional table in the ground floor supply room (as opposed to within the spawn barrier) would likely alter the map in unwanted ways, and perhaps even present a slight balancing issue. Please take this into consideration when adding the furniture. Thank you!
