Our special guest speaker today was UK football player, Walker Wood @Wood7Walker. He read Snowmen at Night by Caralyn Buehner. The kids loved it! I think their favorite part was giving him high fives before he left. Thanks, Walker!

Today's special guest reader was FCPS Superintendent, Manny Caulk. You should have heard his different voices when reading, The True Story of the Three Little Pigs.The kids loved visiting with Mr. Caulk&really loved that he gave us a copy of the book to keep in our class library.

On the second day back after spring break we spent time giving compliments as we made "Compli-mats" for our classmates. Building relationships is so important to learning! #jlaproud
