@LakeOasis @Dave_Matter Definitely agree, I think Drink was trying to manage the room and keep too many people happy. I think based on naming an early starter that he's learned from that situation. Just my opinion though.

@LakeOasis @Dave_Matter Baze was a solid starter but couldn't clutch it. I'm not sure we had a better QB on the roster at that point. Robinson had converted so it was Bazelak, Cook, and Macon. The last 2 were freshman at the time. Who was supposed to come up and play big time ball for us?

@PhilipTortora @LateKickJosh I more think about the logistics of the teams shipping gear. IIRC ORST at Purdue the truck left tue to be set up on time for sat. LA to NY could easily be a Monday leave so where is the turnaround for ops/equipment etc? That's a lot of work for folks that won't see any extra pay.
