- El gol anulado a Egipto debió ser válido. Argentina estaba bien posicionada en defensa y en ningún momento fueron tomados en desventaja de recuperar la pelota. Revisaron VAR y cancelaron el gol egipcio.

- El mismo árbitro dijo que en el Austria vs Argentina hubo una acción similar donde Argentina cometió falta y luego vino el gol argentino, sin embargo, Austria estuvo bien posicionada en defensa y no se revisó el VAR.
