Envisioned as a premier annual flagship event, FiAB will be organized by the BRIC-National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (@HydNiab) during the first week of November every year.
This year's inaugural edition is scheduled to take place from 3rd to 6th, November 2026, at our campus in Hyderabad, India.
FiAB aims to establish a global platform bringing together leading scientists, researchers, and innovators to discuss groundbreaking advancements, address critical challenges, and shape the future of animal biotechnology.
The conference will delve into cutting-edge themes, including livestock health, transgenics, genomics, reproductive biotechnology, and One Health initiatives.
The inaugural edition of FiAB will center on a critical challenge impacting livestock health and dairy economics globally. The dedicated theme for FiAB 2026 is "Mastitis โ Diagnosis, Therapy and Beyond." The conference will serve as a high-level platform to bridge foundational science with translational solutions.
We aim to explore the complete spectrum of the disease, moving from advanced diagnostics to cutting-edge therapeutic strategies and alternative interventions.
Event Highlights:
โขโ โ Preconference workshop: 3.11.2026 โ 4.11.2026
โขโ โ Conference: 5.11.2026 โ 6.11.2026
โขโ โ Venue: BRIC-National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (BRIC-NIAB), Hyderabad, India
โขโ โ Format: In-person sessions, panel discussions, and interactive workshops
We look forward to welcoming you to BRIC-NIAB this November.

On World Zoonoses Day, we highlight the importance of the One Health approach, which connects human, animal, and environmental health.
Biotechnology helps us prepare better for zoonotic diseases through disease tracking, early detection, improved testing, vaccine research, and study of disease-causing organisms.
The Department of Biotechnology (@DBTIndia) is committed to using science and innovation to build a healthier, safer, and stronger India.
