The final Conference of the AdaptNET project was held in Goa from 13-15 June 2022. The UAS Dharwad hosted the conference and was coordinated by DBT-NECAB, AAU, Jorhat. Over sixty participants from European and Indian partner institutions participated in the conference.

The villages at the foothills of Gabharu Parbat, Jorhat, were known for their horticultural production. Since the last couple of years, insect pests have frequented their fields even in winters. We organised a workshop on application of biopesticides funded by the DBT, GoI.

With the help of NGO Kristir Kothia towards the goals of the AdaptNET Project under ERASMUS+, about 30 local women farmers have participated in the 10-day training programme from Nov 26, 2021 to Dec 2, 2021, on “ Integrated Farming Alternatives Towards Climate Resilience”.
