@albafella1 But stop calling them Orcs. It's an insult to the concept of an Orc. You already call them russian, which is the lowest insult possible. Further insults are not required.
@rshereme You miss the most likely possibility, that they are simply evil. People are rarely as stupid as they pretend to be. And people are what they do, not what the pretend to believe or even what they really believe, but what they do.
@reshetz I live in Bucharest, and since 24 Feb 2022, all of the contrails in the sky are parallel, on a NW-SE axis. Nobody flies on the NE-SW axis. You can just look up see it most of the time.
@DStephenVoss@Mr_FrazierKY There is a big difference between protests here in Romania and those in the US. When Romanians take to the streets, they do so with a narrow focus and specific, actionable demands. This allows serious people ("grownups") to take them seriously and even participate.
@sarah_michels13 A serious question: What does it mean to "protest in solidarity"? Are they demanding something specific, something that the university can actually do?
@DStephenVoss@K_NoiseWaterMD The failure to make such distinctions is a deliberate disinformation tactic that seems to be common to both sides of this conflict.
@evacide Agreed, because, as you already point out, the services of the platform are up for sale anyway, allowing foreign actors, possibly through front companies or cut-out users, to buy information and post content. Present-day Facebook is an example.
