Dave Meltzer says AEW president Tony Khan is much happier with how the Warner Bros. Discovery situation has played out.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer discussed Khan's reaction to Paramount, rather than Netflix, acquiring WBD, AEW's broadcast partner. A Netflix deal could have split AEW's TV and streaming rights between two separate companies, while the Paramount deal keeps everything under one umbrella.

On Khan's reaction, Meltzer said: "He is a lot happier that the WBD deal went the way it was... When it comes to the Paramount deal, he can't wait. That's probably the nicest way of putting it. He is a lot happier."
