March 24, 2006: The original series "Hannah Montana" premieres following the debut of the DCOM "Cow Belles."
To say the show was a phenomenon would be a huge understatement, and its prominence came to define Disney Channel for years to come.
The movie would spawn two hit sequels and a meta-sequel Disney+ series; the soundtrack album went quadruple-Platinum in a single year; and it made household names out of stars like Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and Corbin Bleu.

January 20, 2006: The DCOM "High School Musical" premieres and becomes a surprise cultural phenomenon. Over 7,732,000 viewers saw the debut, which was preceded by a new "Suite Life" episode (which also starred Ashley Tisdale).
