@krux@Borgel@CmdC0de@hackerwarehouse You can submit as “Exhibit Only” next year so we can show off your 🤩nifty badge🤩 in the display case, even if you’re not interested in competing/ prizes!
@Hyr0n1 I'm terribly sorry that was supposed to be last week but life got incredibly complex. :) I really wish it would schedule those things. That's on the schedule for tomorrow and Monday.
@supersat yup. Totally agreed. It sucks, but it happens. LiPo batteries are amazing, except for, you know, when they get damaged and catch on fire. :) Seriously recommend a shield or cover for batteries, and for users not "stacking" badges. On their neck, or in luggage.

Long story short, the lipo on the cryptobadge is easily punctured, even by a metal coincell holder. Bang! Please be careful! #dcbadgelife#badgelife
@CryptoVillage of course! And as we tweeted before, it's not the badges fault! Admittedly, we would recommend a shield or cover for any battery, but especially lithium based ones. It was physically damaged by another battery holder. Not the badge or battery's fault.
@travelingdave25 the coin cell holder wasn't part of that badge, yeah. Totally not the fault of the @cryptovillage badge other than it might have been nice to have a shield/cover for the lipo.
Were happy our “boop” badge was so well received this year at @defcon, and they went fast!
