Also: Could we get a GameDay for North Dakota State at New Mexico?

[Ryan Berryman @RyanDBerryman]

Another amazing win for @Coach_Eck & company! 🐺

If you’re not on the bandwagon already, it’s not too late.

We need everyone the rest of the way. ⤵️

New Mexico may be the best team in the country. I’m putting them in my top 10 next week @Coach_Eck

[Dani Belinski @dcbelinski]

@RyanDBerryman Congrats RB!!

[Jon Rothstein @JonRothstein]

With or without Cade Tyson -- who's seeking a 5th season -- Minnesota looks like a dark horse NCAA Tournament team.

Gophers return a combined 180 made 3-point shots with Isaac Asuma, Bobby Durkin, and Jaylen Crocker-Johnson.

Added Kyan Evans, Malachi Palmer.

Interesting team.

[Minnesota Men's Basketball @GopherMBB]

Congrats, @EricaMedved!

[Niko Medved @coachNikoMedved]

This is great stuff! @CoachJPStrength you know you have a whole crew in Minnesota in your corner! #TeamTogether

The judge's decision on Brendan Sorsby is indicative of where we are.

We've confused compassion & empathy with excusing behavior. This is what happens when the person who broke the rules is increasingly viewed as the primary victim.

Accountability is now cruelty.

Embarrassing.

[Scott Van Pelt @notthefakeSVP]

There really aren’t any rules. You just go to court. If it fails, go to court again until a judge says you’re all set.

Want a 7th year?

Sure

Broke rules?

Ahhhh, it’s fine.

There AREN’T any rules.

New Mexico football with the Sopranos inspired schedule announcement. This is great.

CSU pros last night 🔥 🔥 🔥

Nique Clifford (SAC): 24 PTS, 7 REB, 5 AST
John Tonje (BOS): 13 PTS, 4 REB
David Roddy (DEN): 15 PTS, 13 REB, 2 AST

Rams making plays all over the league. #ProudToBe 🐏

[Ali Farokhmanesh @farokhmanesh5]

Tons of respect and such a classy move by @RyanDBerryman and @UNMLOBOS for honoring @davepilipovich last night before the game.

That doesn’t happen everywhere and I know it meant a lot to Coach P!

[Jon Rothstein @JonRothstein]

Minnesota has now beaten UCLA, Iowa, Michigan State, and Indiana at home this season. The Barn continues to be a very tough place to play. And Bobby Durkin? A season-high SEVEN made three-point shots in the upset.

[Kevin Sweeney @CBB_Central]

Minnesota has been so snake-bitten with injuries, brutal late losses and more. Special win over a top-10 opponent in Michigan State. Niko Medved injecting life into this program in a major way. ANOTHER courtstorm at the Barn!

[Jon Rothstein @JonRothstein]

Nebraska has a potential trap game today at Minnesota prior to back-to-back tilts against Michigan and Illinois.

Gophers have already picked off both Indiana and Iowa at The Barn this season.

Huskers are 19-0.

[Dan Wolken @DanWolken]

One overarching comment here that applies to both the Ole Miss/Clemson situation and the Alabama basketball situation: The people in charge of college sports have built their systems on A) Hoping/believing that most people act ethically and B) They will accept the consequences if they don’t and get caught.

Neither of those things have been true for decades. So here we are.

And yet the same people in charge now will come up with the next thing and the next thing and the next thing and none of them will work without a CBA

[Jeff Goodman @GoodmanHoops]

Iowa with several chances to tie it, but Minnesota hangs on for the win.

Huge 3 for Jaylen Crocker-Johnson late in the game.

In Year 1, Niko Medved now has the Gophers at 3-1 in Big Ten play with wins over Indiana and a ranked Iowa team.

Medved the ideal hire for Minnesota.

COLORADO STATE RUNS THE STATE OF COLORADO!!!

RAMS KNOCK OFF UNDEFEATED BUFFS!

[Jon Rothstein @JonRothstein]

Minnesota lost by double figures to two quality WCC programs — San Francisco and Santa Clara — in two of its last three games.

Tonight, it knocked off undefeated Indiana at The Barn with nine scholarship players.

Anarchy?

Nope. Just College Basketball.

[Bruce Feldman @BruceFeldmanCFB]

New Mexico goes to UNLV and wins to become bowl eligible for the first time since 2016. Jason Eck, the former Wisconsin O-lineman, was a terrific hire by the Lobos.
