Dir. Snider joined the Caribbean community at Sapodilla’s, a woman-owned restaurant led by Chef Samantha Abrams, for a celebration of culture and connection.
The meet-and-greet featured KestheBand, residents, and visitors highlighting Caribbean culture’s growing influence in DC.

Dir Snider attended a community mixer hosted by the DC Caribbean Bar Association w/ the Caribbean Law Student Associations of both Howard and American University. She connected w/ students & professionals across the Caribbean community.

Last week, I joined the OAS for their Inauguration of the First Inter-American #MentalHealth Week.

Under the slogan “Empower, Connect, Care Strengthening Child and Youth Mental Health in the Americas.”

The week included:
- Thematic session of the Permanent Council.
-Exhibition - Surfed Here: The Journey of Artist Annette Handel,
-Webinars and workshops discussing mental health &
- a Symbolic closing of the week with lighting the OAS in green.
