映画ﾌｧﾝでありながら俳優の名前を覚えるのがとても苦手で中学生の時、彼女の名前を覚えるのに1週間以上かかった。

この『戦争と平和』を観た時に
こんな綺麗な美しい女性がいるのかと感動した。

映画『ひまわり』では切ない妻を演じていた。
この人が主��かも知れないと思っている。

"Hyde diceva che sarei diventata una grandissima stella. Ricordo che scoppiai a ridere e gli risposi che non sembrava affatto possibile, visto che non riuscivo neanche a guadagnare abbastanza per pagare la bolletta del telefono.

Qui, la foto mostra la Monroe durante un celebre servizio fotografico in bikini del 1951, realizzato negli studi cinematografici della 20th Century Fox.

3 août 2004. Henri Cartier-Bresson meurt à quatre-vingt-quinze ans, dans un village des Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.

Il avait passé le siècle à saisir les autres au millième de seconde, sans jamais recadrer un seul de ses tirages. On l'a surnommé l'œil du siècle.

Fait prisonnier en juin 1940, il passe près de trois ans dans les camps allemands. Deux évasions échouent. La troisième réussit, en février 1943. Il récupère l'appareil qu'il avait mis à l'abri avant sa capture et rejoint la Résistance.

En 1946, le musée d'art moderne de New York lui préparait une exposition posthume. On le croyait mort à la guerre.

Il a traversé l'Atlantique pour venir l'accrocher lui-même.

Before the production of The Unbearable Lightness of Being (1988) even began, director Philip Kaufman was personally offered the chance to helm the film by Miloš Forman, who learned that studios were planning an adaptation of Milan Kundera's acclaimed novel. Forman declined to direct it himself because he still had family in Czechoslovakia and feared they could face repercussions from the Soviet government, which occupied the country at the time.

During post-production, Kaufman reportedly employed a clever strategy to secure his preferred running time. The first cut he screened for the studio was under two hours long but deliberately confusing after several scenes had been removed. When executives asked him to restore the missing material, he returned the following day with the nearly three-hour theatrical cut. It is widely believed Kaufman intentionally presented the shorter, disjointed version to persuade the studio to approve his preferred final cut without demanding further edits.

Jack Nicholson has often described The Passenger (1975) as one of his favorite films of his career. Reflecting that admiration, when a separate project with MGM fell through, he acquired the rights to the film as compensation. Although he kept it out of circulation for many years, Nicholson entered into negotiations with Sony Pictures Classics in 2003, ultimately leading to a newly remastered theatrical re-release in 2005.
