How is:
40 years ago today the Navy, nay, the world, lost a legend. Lt. Nick "Goose" Bradshaw, RIO, best friend, mustache enthusiast. #GreatBallsOfFire#TalkToMeGoose
If I’m talking about The Odyssey and a friend says “No spoilers!” I am going to say “It’s been 3,000 years. Too soon?” That’s really all I have to look forward to in the coming weeks.
@RobertOlker I mean, with as bad as the Hawks have been the last few years I imagine they are willing to do whatever they need to to get more/different eyeballs on the team
One way we could make DC safer and cleaner without using the national guard would be to restore the $1b in cuts to the city budget that was passed into law with Trump's signature—which Trump and Republicans were supposed to reverse but never got around to.
I see now that it was announced a few days ago that there was going to be a flyover of DC at 5pm today... but there should be an emergency alert sent to everyone 10 min in advance. Some of us who were here in 2001 still get freaked out at the sound of planes over the city...
The worst part of getting to know my neighbors is that when it snows, I can no longer just be mad at strangers for not shoveling their sidewalk. I'm disappointed in people whose kids my kids play with, for making it dangerous for me to walk my dog...
@ChrisPeleoLazar@Politicalprozac I, for one, am 100% here for his deranged trolling. That people seem to take him at face value is quite the indictment of this god forsaken platform. (That I can't seem to quit...)
@Politicalprozac Also, I was in 4th grade when I was 9, and we were learning American History. We learned about the indigenous people the first half of the year and then Columbus and colonization the 2nd half of the year. Revolution and Civil War were 5th grade.
