250 years after July 4, 1776, the successor of King George III pays taxes and publishes his returns. The successor of George Washington does not. https://t.co/CbIXDe8UQY
Investment accounts owned by President Trump engaged in more than 300 previously undisclosed stock purchases on April 8, 2025, one day before his surprise announcement that he would pause a number of his tariffs, his financial disclosure report says. https://t.co/WqQb7csmVS
This is so insanely corrupt, I can’t even believe it.
More than half the donors to Trump’s $400 million White House ballroom just won over $50 billion in new federal contracts in six months.
And here’s the part that should make your blood boil.
Sixteen of these 27 donors were facing federal enforcement actions, antitrust reviews, labor cases, securities charges. Many of those cases have been quietly dropped or scaled back since Trump took office. You write a check, your legal problems disappear. That’s not a coincidence.
The White House won’t even release the full donor list. They’re hiding it on purpose, because daylight is the one thing pay-to-play can’t survive. A federal judge already ruled ballroom construction has to stop until Congress authorizes it.
Government is supposed to serve the people, not auction itself off to the highest bidder. When access goes to whoever pays the most, working families always end up paying the price.
We either end the corruption, or the corruption will end us.

@mtgreenee@MaryBowdenMD I took the jab. I take it along with the flu jab every Fall. I don’t get the Flu. I had one Covid episode and it was very mild. You and Dr. Bowden are biased or clueless or both.
The total value of Trump’s transactions in the first three months of this year—$750 million—is higher than the value of all trades by all 535 members of the House and Senate *combined* in an average year. https://t.co/Dr1pm0kCwN
You’re not going to like it, but here’s the harsh truth: Trump would rather use taxpayer money to relitigate the 2020 election and January 6th through an “anti-weaponization” fund than focus on winning the midterms.
When Trump pulled out of the international nuclear agreement with Tehran in 2018, Iran lacked even a single bomb's worth of uranium. Since then, it accumulated 22,000 pounds of enriched uranium. @BlackiLi@WilliamJBroad https://t.co/r8pPDoXqgh
Worth adding that Russia did as a matter of fact intervene for Trump in 2016 and that the evidence is widely known, abundant, and collected in various forms, including a Senate investigation, the Mueller report, multiple intelligence investigations, multiple reportorial investigations in the US and elsewhere, and multiple books. Leaving out that crucial fact allows the reader to miss the way this echoes prior authoritarian "investigate the investigator" moves as well as the fundamentally Orwellian character of this.

@mtgreenee Small sample size, study type (observational cohort) suggest this is not highly reliable evidence. At best, it probably suggests that more study is needed. But I don’t believe this is very conclusive.
@Coll1313@mtgreenee Most medications don’t work for everyone in some form or fashion. That said, I agree with your caution. This is very low level evidence from an observational cohort. The big take away is MUCH more study and review is needed.
