Hey y’all! Coach Cummings here. It’s been a blast to keep up with this Twitter account for the Sb season but it’s time to leave it behind as I’ll be moving when school is out to Snyder to coach basketball and softball. Wanna follow me on that? Go ahead ➡️ @reginakayxo 🥰❤️

Both the Varsity and JV Fillies fell to Littlefield yesterday. Our Varsity girls played well, but couldn’t pull out the win. Our JV girls struggled both offensively and defensively. Come watch our last game together on Tuesday at 5 for #HaleyNight

The Varsity Mustangs won back to back District District Championships. Truly a team effort. #rollredroll

The JV Fillies fought hard to come back and get the win against Brownfield but the time clock was against us yet again and we couldn’t put enough runs on the board before time was called and we lost 8-6.

[DCFillies Softball @dcfillies]

Our Varsity Fillies came out hot and put a run on the board in the first inning but could never manage to add any more falling to Brownfield Lady Cubs 14-1.

The JV Fillies were strong at the plate and on defense and pulled out an 11-8 victory over the Lamesa GTs. Solid hits and good base-running helped us take the lead and hold the lead to secure the win!! #dcfillies #softball ❤️🥎🤍

[DCFillies Softball @dcfillies]

The Varsity Fillies faced a TOUGH pitcher against Lamesa today. The girl was throwing the fire! ☄️ Jocelyn Mendoza managed to hit a solo HR but we could never get the bats going enough to make things happen. We will be playing Brownfield on Saturday and I expect a good battle!!

[DCFillies Softball @dcfillies]

JV Fillies went back and forth against the JV lady mules putting runs on the board. Eventually, our defense went to work and we held the lady mules to only 2 runs the last two innings and pulled out a 14-10 win!! #dcfillies #softball ❤️🥎🤍

[DCFillies Softball @dcfillies]

Varsity Fillies jumped out to an early lead but the Muleshoe Lady Mules chipped away until they overtook the lead. It was a tough loss, 8-12. The Fillies will be taking on Lamesa at home on Tuesday at 5. ❤️🥎🤍

One of the hardest things for young athletes to learn is putting the team first. Once they set their egos aside for the sake of the team, their future becomes much brighter!
