I was only lingering around here for the ML, AI, Category Theory, and programming folks. They’re at the other place now and so am I! So long and thanks for all the fish!
Don't miss the 6th episode of our interview series! 🙌 https://t.co/EhjuhwajEU
In this video @laffra explains why he thinks communication skills are even more important for developers than their actual code. He also reveals how to get promoted at Google and other big tech companies. 😁
Stay tuned for the next interviews that will be released every Friday! 🙃

I have great news 🚀. PySheets is now open source and runs entirely on your own (enterprise) device, without an external server. Try it out and get your early-adaptor license now, with free updates, forever.
So here's a story of, by far, the weirdest bug I've encountered in my CS career.
Along with @maciejwolczyk we've been training a neural network that learns how to play NetHack, an old roguelike game, that looks like in the screenshot. Recenlty, something unexpected happened.
Learn more about PyScript and PySheets at the Open Spaces on May 18 and 19 at PyCon US 2024. On Saturday, we will explore PyScript, while on Sunday, we will focus on the intersection of spreadsheets and Python. I look forward to meeting you there in (now) sunny Pittsburgh 🤓
PySheets, the spreadsheet UI for Python, is now in public beta. Visit https://t.co/HbFEm0Qqtd to check it out. Run your Python code and create charts entirely in the browser without needing a kernel. PySheets uses PyScript and is written in Python itself 🤯.
This week, I gave a demo of PySheets at the PyScript Community technical call. In short, PySheets is a fantastic marriage between Python Notebooks and Spreadsheets. Oh yeah, PySheets is fast 🚀.

In case anyone needs to know... if you want to use remote desktop to connect to a new Windows 10 install and you set up a pin, you MUST log in using your Microsoft account password at least once BEFORE you can connect via RDP... or at least, that's what I experienced. Gah!
