@Jelfman2@CTMathewes I'm quite open to the charges against Finn being dismissed. I don't like the idea of penalizing members of the press one bit. But the DP should just call them protestors, not "anti-war protestors," and the police should be the police, not "the militant Virginia State Police."
I consider myself profoundly lucky to have had the opportunity to hold this position—wonderful colleagues, top-notch students, fulfilling teaching, and Bodo's Bagels. What more could you ask for?
