It was a pleasure to go along with Kenny Stevenson MP tonight to a reception in parliament with @samaritans allowing MP’s to show appreciation for the life saving work that they do 24/7.

Tomorrow is #worldsuicidepreventionday

Tomorrow we remember all those impacted by suicide.

I was proud to be part of a Government who recognised a two state solution. Today, I am pleased the Government has taken additional steps alongside France, Canada, Norway, Ireland and others. We must find a peaceful solution, get aid into Gaza, get injured citizens out for medical treatment and stop further violence in the entire region including the West Bank.

This weekend is “Renfrewshire Doors Open Days” on 5/6 Sept.

I visited Holy Trinity & St. Barnabas in #Paisley town centre, where I received a warm welcome from the congregation, with Alan Potter giving an historical account of the 200 yrs old church.
