Oversight isn't enough. Democrats have to actually pass things.
Part 2 of my conversation with @adrianboafomd is live. Minimum wage. Healthcare. Housing. We can walk and chew gum. https://t.co/hYKN7qKlUC
He beat me in the primary. We're still friends.
Sat down with @adrianboafomd last week for a real conversation. No scripts. Two guys from PG County, still cool.
Part 1 is live. https://t.co/ucelGCA6sW
Did you know the next Congressman from Maryland's 5th is a DJ?
I sat down with @AdrianBoafoMD, who I lost to in the primary, and still one of my people, for a real conversation. Part 1 drops Tuesday 9am on Substack. https://t.co/6WKqDqHoCt
Going live at noon ET with @SteveSchmidtSES to talk about saving our democracy. Live on Substack and YouTube. Subscribe so you don't miss it 👇

NEW: A federal appeals court just ruled in favor of Democrats trying to block political parties — i.e. the flush GOP committees — from getting favorable candidate ad rates this fall.
GOP to appeal. But difference could be big $$$.

This is like a bank robber saying they gave me the money, what did I do wrong?
Trump pardoning these traitors is among his worst crimes against democracy.
Grew up with four sisters. Now I'm raising a daughter named Daphne. You don't look away when survivors ask to be seen and heard. You just show up. That's what being a man actually looks like.

The DOJ is investigating seashells arranged in a pattern. Meanwhile they're going after Comey for political revenge, not crimes. This isn't justice — it's a weaponized government.

I was a Capitol Police officer on January 6th. I testified about what I saw. Then I ran for Congress to keep fighting for accountability. Outside groups spent $11 million to silence me.
They will not.
Today I am re-launching Standing Our Ground: https://t.co/HcyrnfPUXW
On Monday, our office suffered an unimaginable loss. Chris Matthews, my District Outreach and Communications Director, passed away unexpectedly.
If any one of you begin to lose faith in our country, remember Chris Matthews.
Remember he was without question one of the Commonwealth’s sharpest political minds – a generational talent.
Remember that he was more than a Congressional aide. He took the belief that through our actions we all can bring needed change and brought it with him on many interstate bus rides to canvas distant pivotal states and to the doors of the families he inspired.
Remember through his example that public service is a genuinely noble vocation. As a trusted member of our office, he helped countless veterans, families, and those who could not advocate for themselves.
Those of us privileged to have worked with him for over fifteen years will remember his laugh and his wry, often biting, humor – contrasting the way things are to the way they could be.
We will always remember his authentic belief that in this country, people can bring about progress and meaningful change. It was real to him and his sincerity shown through.
Chris was a genuinely good person. He was family to all of us, and we are devastated by his loss, particularly at such a young age.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Molly and Eli and the many who loved him. Though we wish we had more time with him, his memory will continue to give us faith that one person can significantly make better the lives of those around him.
Just heartbroken. When you talk about proper campaigners, the real ones, that's Chris -- just a good dude with a wicked sense of humor sitting in a dingy campaign office coming up with every angle to help the good guys win. Rest in peace brother.

Looks like @AngieCraigMN touched a nerve when she ripped the Trump admin a new one.
Always love to hear JD Vance's interest in programs benefiting farmers like SNAP as he is a major investor in a company that sells American farmland to foreign investors. https://t.co/4VxX7N4ugk
If the fraud rate is really as low as Democrats claim, why are they fighting so hard to hide the data? Why not just work with USDA to audit and validate where the money is going? Their resistance to us going after fraud is part of why these programs ballooned in the first place.
Rep. Angie Craig demolishes Ag Secretary Brooke Rollins: "Joe Biden is no longer the president. Mr. Trump is. Your party controls Congress. You own these numbers at this point. I'm sick of hearing you blame an administration from a year and half ago. You own every single bit of this."
Honored to have the endorsement of U.S. Senator Angela Alsobrooks. Senator Alsobrooks has spent her entire career fighting for working families — and now she's taken that fight to Washington. She knows this moment calls for leaders who will stand up to Donald Trump's attacks on our communities. And she's trusting me to be that fighter in Congress. That means everything.
I'm so honored to announce that Governor Wes Moore has endorsed my campaign for Congress. It's a full circle moment for me when I first met him in 2022. From workforce development, to poverty alleviation, Governor Moore understands what it means to leave no Marylander behind, and I'm honored to have his support here in the 5th District.
