@RyanJ_KOL It could be possible, yes.
I plan to develop two major tools. One responsible to set all the connections between each element of the network. And another for the Path Finding of the train.
Based on these tools, I could also check the state of the network.
I’ve just tested a variant with a Segmented Switch.
Next steps: create complex layouts with multiple segments and switches, refine the tools, clean up the code, and begin the work on the train.

First version of a Sliding Switch.
Pretty happy with this first approach. The system is flexible and simple to parameter. Still looking for a better approach.

This is still messy but I can now connect two segments. This feature will be useful in case I'll need to divide multiple paths and also for connecting other elements like switches.

Now working on a Rail System.
This one is gonna be more complicated but let's try ! Currently working on some tools to handle Splines more easily. Here, I try to control a Spline from some custom points.

I continue to work on the Spline Tools.
I can now control a curve with multiple points. I can also add roll to this curve and make the meshes follow it. I also added the possibility to control the scale of the gap between the paths per point.

@solmatter_ Yes, I already use a kind of tool based on Arrow Components to visualize my tangents. As my tangents are generated by my Spline Tools, it helps me to check if everything is right.
@corhoonx Thank you.
Yeah, I quickly realized that manipulating the curves by hand—especially the tangents—would soon become complicated. I will likely need to develop new tools as I progress.
Little update.
I can now generate multiple paths along the Spline. I also started to create some tools to generate all the meshes.

The Manual Mode is now working. I can choose my floor directly from the Control Panel. I'm not very happy with the interaction system. It's not very precise and it can be quickly frustrating but it works.

Currently working on an Elevator System.
The Automatic Mode is already working. I still need some tweeks to make the Manual Mode working too.

The Character is now moving on the escalator.
At first, I used Static Mesh for the steps. Simple but not performant.
So i used Instances. Much performant but physics was broken. I used a Collision Box to detect the Character and moving it with Add Offset.

The steps ans the handrails are now moving.
The handrails are not really "moving". I choose to move a texture instead of the meshes.
The steps are simply moving on the Spline at a specified segment.
