They did it again!
Intense teaching days for current and previous lab members.
@dcorujo - programming in R @GTRecerca@IrisUribesalgo - gender dimensions in science and
René Winkler - integrity in research for @IMMERGE_MSCA_DN@CarrerasIJC.
Well done!
Biggest thanks to our long-term collaborators from the @FlorianHeidel group for hosting us at the MHH in @hannover.
After 2 days of intense discussions, we return with your contagious enthusiasm and many new ideas.
Yesterday @dcorujog and myself had the pleasure to visit the studios of TV3 for the final event of the 2018 @la_marato call.
The grant supported our collaboration @FlorianHeidel @MHH_life on the role of #histone_variants in #AML.
Thanks a lot for all that contributed!
📣 Excited to announce that we'll be holding a new international Symposium at #IJC!

Time to head back to Barcelona after a very engaging conference. Thanks to the organizers for the hard work on running such a smooth event. Beautiful surroundings in Borovets Bulgaria! #EHAReCon2024@EHA_Hematology
We would like to thank the 100+ basic #hematology researchers for joining us for #EHAReCon2024. This meeting, focused on molecular vulnerabilities & metabolism in hematological disorders, featured unpublished research & new connections. Stay tuned for #EHAReCon2025.
Just landed in Sofia, only the last leg of the trip left to reach Borovets and join the #EHAReCon2024@EHA_Hematology Come meet me at poster 51 this evening if you're interested!
MEET THE LAB!
@dcorujog will be this week at the @EHA_Hematology Research Conference in Borovets (Bulgaria) presenting our work on the function of macroH2A #histone_variants in #AML.
Check out POSTER #51 during the poster sessions on Monday and Tuesday evening! #EHAReCon2024
I joined the lab >10 years ago, since then I feel I have grown professionally and personally in a stimulating and supportive environment where my commitment has been met with trust, training and opportunities to progress scientifically. Happy anniversary, glad to be part of it!🎉
Today 15 years ago ...
... the Buschbeck lab opened its doors at the late IMPPC, now part of @GTRecerca.
Many thanks to past and present lab members for great work and team spirit.
Thank you!
Danke! Merci!
Hvala! Grazie!
Gracias! Gracies!
Go raibh maith agat!
That's me explaining dplyr with an unnecessary amount of hand gestures, apparently 😅
Seriously though, very happy to continue with R training activities at @GTRecerca and teaching for interested and engaged course participants.
So, it felt a bit special going back there after all this time as a lecturer. I could certainly not imagine this when I was a kid sitting there playing pinball on a Microsoft 98, pentium-powered PC.
Had the pleasure to contribute today with a lecture to the Epigenetics-focused subject of the Master in Biomedicine from the Universitat de Barcelona 🧬
For my highschool research project, he put me in touch with researchers there and I could use their equipment (a simple spectrophotometer), that was my first experience in a research laboratory 🧪

Thanks to @RobertoMalinve2 for having involved me in the development of this package. I have learned so much about R development over the course of bringing this tool to Bioconductor and publishing it.
