@thestevenwoods Why would you need a guarantee to get into the CFP if you are in the top 12 when you are not willing to play CFP level teams? Shouldn’t the best teams be in?
@jj_redick Wow JJ thought you were smarter than this. Kid in college vs a grown man. It’s called being a kid vs a man we are suppose to learn how to handle those situations.
@Elliott_Sadler If you are looking to Twitter for the answer then you are looking for a political propaganda answer. If you want the actual answer maybe do some research not ask the question on Twitter.
@GoLABolts Downtown was a good location not sure how feasible it actually was based on who owned the property but regardless it cut out everyone in the county from voting.
@GoLABolts I don’t know about the percentage of city vs County I do think when they decided to push for downtown people in the county realized they could not be a part of the decision and lost all interest. With the Clippers their worth was what someone actually paid.
@GoLABolts Haven’t seen anything proving that but I do think the Spanos family and Mr Fabiani new what they were doing. In terms of the Clippers value at the time Steve Balmer purchased them he way overpaid vs their actual value and did not care.
@GoLABolts I believe they did have a home field advantage in SD. There was a chance to build a new stadium but when the Spanos family pushed for downtown that eliminated a large portion of people voting on a new stadium. I don’t think the Clippers are the best example because of new owners.
@GoLABolts I don’t doubt the stadium will be full or close to it but I don’t see the Chargers ever having the home field advantage or being the LA team because it’s LA if they stay in SD then it’s a different story.
@GoLABolts We will have to disagree about that but that is ok. I appreciate the respectful conversation it unfortunately doesn’t happen on here often and I don’t usually choose to interact because of it.
@GoLABolts Thanks but I don’t need the essay I am born and raised in San Diego I am very familiar with what went on in San Diego . So you are saying when they move to the new stadium because it is less expensive to buy a ticket they will be to have more fans?
@GoLABolts Any examples of who those players are because I do pay attention and haven’t seen this. I wouldn’t pay Melvin Gordon the 10m they offered him but throughout their ownership the Spanish family has been very cheap.
@GoLABolts So from a player/free agent perspective what is the incentive to play for the Chargers knowing you will likely be unwelcome in your own stadium?
@GoLABolts@RumorsandRants@PadsFan4Ever So as a business based on what your saying they are successful. Any idea how many of those season ticket holders are actual fans vs brokers? I ask because with them playing in the 27k seat stadium there is at best 55/45 home field advantage.
