Don't get me wrong, I LOVED John Smit. But I CAN NOT WAIT for the day that Siya has the most caps as a Springbok captain. He is already the most iconic, most caps as captain must follow.

In the fullness of time, we’ll come to thank @RuaidhriOC for driving back into the Bok fold a man with detailed insights into the bulk of Ireland’s World Cup team.
@10Broderick@Aarontalbot4 This type of conversation and the one directional insults is what I am referring to. This Irish bloke has a clear hatred of Saffas and makes no secret of it in his tweets.
@10Broderick@Aarontalbot4 Yes, I hear you. Ireland seems keen to play us and have us around. But when it comes to incidents (eg. like Hendrickse winking at Crawley) the furuore seems so strong that the bias I’m referring to comes across strongly.
Nienaber blamed for Leinster is the same type of thing.
@10Broderick@Aarontalbot4 Maybe I should have phrased that differently to read: “amongst Ireland supporters on X.” Present company excluded as I do believe you are more open minded than the average Ireland fan I have encountered.
@10Broderick@Aarontalbot4 I don’t think that is the point. It is strange for an assistant coach — the coach with the actual success track record — to take the majority of the flak. There is definitely a strong anti-SA bias in the Irish media and in Ireland in general.
It’s just a little funny and sad.
Poll all coaches + players in Top 14, Prem, URC, SRP - and have them rank:
- Cullen amongst headmen
- Nienaber amongst D coaches
- Bleyendaal in attack
Jacques would make the top 3 (and many would rank him 1st).
Leo mid-table. Tyler nowhere.
But go ahead and run JN off 🙈
@FMC_Rugby Stay off the booze pal
It's clear to anyone with a proper IQ that the Leinster players are the problem
The same ones who bottle Champions Cups, Grand Slams and world cup quarter-finals
