1/ How I infiltrated a Chinese organized crime syndicate that has laundered $1B+ across multiple exploits for Lazarus Group.

Posing as a client, I gathered intel that helped action freezes for the Feb 2025 Bybit exploit and attribute illicit activity onchain.

@AnonHbar No, the answer is that Algorand is a poverty ecosystem so exploiters think it is not worth looting since the reward would be so small.

Coinbase “lost” $25m of my firm’s a couple years ago. Turned out they were actually covering up massive and repeated hacks. Still wouldn’t return our money. We traced this to at least a dozen other affected firms and over $1b covered up. That’s all I can say for now as multiple legal processes still ongoing.

In Spain, a gay couple says that if the ‘far-right’ wins the next election, they will seek asylum in Palestine because they consider it the most ‘progressive’ place on earth.

This is mental illness. How can they be so dumb?

[David Silver @dcsilver]

Love your family. Love your friends. Hell, even love your local enemies. At least they’re real.

Everything else is increasingly manufactured — the outrage on TV, the lives on social media, the personalities, the success, and, apparently, a fair number of the body parts.

Real life is still the people you actually know.

Which is why there’s something almost funny about watching the Tate brothers’ glamorous lifestyle narrative start to crack. Andrew Tate is a global phenomenon. By every outward measure, he should be extraordinarily rich.

And yet, apparently, even that may have been part of the performance.

In a world built on illusion, there’s something refreshing about the truth eventually showing up.

Any good crypto lawyers wanna make some quick $?

I invested over $3m in seed/presales between 2023-2025.

Most of these never launched, the ones that did didn't follow the agreed terms (other than maybe 5%)

Can give you a % of all claimed back. Hit me up.

Silver Miller (and friends) got a HUGE win. Rare doesn’t begin to describe this one.

The Eleventh Circuit granted mandamus — basically, an appeal when you don’t actually have the right to appeal, which almost never happens — and stopped Binance from forcing two nonsignatory crypto-theft victims into arbitration in Hong Kong.

As I told Law360: “A small piece of justice was served today.”

This case also has the potential to become one of the largest crypto class actions ever. The number of victims whose cryptocurrency was stolen and allegedly laundered through Binance is staggering.

My clients never dealt with Binance, never signed its terms, and never agreed to arbitrate anything on the other side of the world.

Now they get to have their claims heard in court.

[David Silver @dcsilver]

@JoeCarlasare @binance Thanks, Joe! This was a weird one. I honestly thought the judge was going to reverse himself in the second case because he got it so wrong the first time. I was wrong. He basically rubber-stamped himself, and we ended up needing the writ from the Eleventh Circuit. Crazy times.

[David Silver @dcsilver]

David vs. Goliath. Today, David won.

We're a small firm. @binance is the largest crypto exchange in the world.

Our clients are innocent victims of crypto theft. Criminals drained their accounts, ran the money through @binance, and cashed out. Lives upended.

Then they got screwed a second time — told they couldn't sue in an American court, because the people who laundered their money had clicked "I agree" on Binance's Terms of Service. Our clients never had a Binance account. Never saw those Terms. Didn't matter.

Fly to Hong Kong, they were told. One at a time. Sue us there.

For two years that argument played out like a bad joke with no punchline.

Today the Eleventh Circuit granted our petition for mandamus and ordered the district court to vacate its ruling.

A contract you never signed shouldn't keep you out of court.

Our clients are going back to court.

For a little firm taking on a giant, this one feels pretty damn good.

Proud to fight alongside @rgrdlaw, @KellerRohrback and @HermanJonesLLP.

In re Philip Martin, et al., No. 26-11695 (11th Cir. Aug. 19, 2026). Read the order: https://t.co/4nGyo38fUx

[David Silver @dcsilver]

@1MarkMoss @binance A lot of people have been waiting a very long time for justice.

We haven’t forgotten them.

More good news is coming.

[David Silver @dcsilver]

5/5 — Why today was rare

Federal law won't let you appeal an order compelling arbitration. So we sought mandamus — relief appellate courts almost never grant.

Today the Eleventh Circuit granted it and ordered the ruling vacated.

Two years+ later, our clients get a courtroom.

[David Silver @dcsilver]

4/5 — In their own words

From regulators' filings:

A @binance compliance officer, on certain customers: "Like come on. They are here for crime."

Its money laundering reporting officer: "we see the bad, but we close 2 eyes."

As of May 2022, Binance had filed zero SARs.
