What's even more frustrating is there is a path to value for D.C. United. Owners do not want to spend on the first team? Fine. You are sitting on a gold mine of youth talent in your area. If D.C. wanted, they could be like Philadelphia Union and go all in on youth development, but they don't want to spend on that either. Waste.
