Kindergartners in Mrs. Mains' class had a special guest teacher yesterday. "Johnny Appleseed" visited their class to teach them all about his love for apples and how he spread kindness by planting apple seeds during his travels. They also got to make applesauce to enjoy!

STEM night was so much fun! We created apples using the Engineering Design Process and participated in fun apple stem activities in kindergarten. @hescubcats @HCPSNC

It’s 🍎 time. Today we talked about apple products and tasted some apple doughnuts from Stepp’s Orchard. We each brought in an apple and did an investigation where we sorted our apples by colors and size, counted our seeds and predicted whether our apples would float or sink.
