Pi Network Is on the Open USD Partners List. Why Does That Matter?

Open USD ($OUSD) is a dollar coin controlled by Open Standard (@openstandard).

Open Standard is an independent corporation with a large network of partners, including banks, payments companies, tech firms, and crypto companies.⁠

Pi Network (@PiCoreTeam) is now listed on this official partners page.

Being listed doesn’t mean that a product is launched. It means the project becomes part of the larger dialogue about dollar rail collaboration.

(1) Recognition alongside familiar names

The directory comprises payment providers, banks, asset managers, and cryptocurrency companies.

Being listed among them makes $Pi part of discussions usually reserved for organizations already transmitting payments in large volumes.

(2) A unified USD standard

Open USD has been developed to let enterprises mint and exchange their shares without charges or volume limits, while most earnings are reinvested to partners, with only an operating cost taken out.
